Never will be. Not unless they make it 3G lol....If you want something similar, but has better usablity, then I'd highly recommend the LG U990 Viewty :)

O2 have an EXCLUSIVE contract to market the Iphone. It is also not 3g. There are two reasons why 3 will NOT be marketing it anytime soon. Also, bear in mind it has major problems getting a signal (even in strong signal areas). Still, being on 3, you'll probably be used to having no signal most of the time. |

Re: 3
iPhones are a complete waste of time and money. Don't expect any support from O2 with it either. Management didn't have a clue so neither did front line advisors.
@wwe For the latest handsets on the three network, why don't you look at their website? 3 do have the LG U990 Viewty in Silver here Call their retentions department (based in India) for the latest deals to see what they can offer you. (Assuming you are a current 3 customer. Personally I would take the N95 8GB pack or a Sony Ericsson handset. Let me know what you would like from your phone and I will be able to recommend one to you. I have worked for both 3 and O2. |

I don't think it was over priced and I shelled out the £269 to get it. Perhaps you should try one before you give out your opinion. ---------- Post added at 18:14 ---------- Previous post was at 18:11 ---------- Quote:
The package is also pretty much exactly what I want as well with the unlimited data. Shame its not able to be used as a data modem but then all it would be for is checking mail and a quick surf which is a doddle to do on the phone anyway. |

http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/prod...0i?cc=gb&lc=en I love the flick wrist to change MP3 track. The motion sensors in the phone that change the screen from portait to landscape. and it's 3G. |

The iphone probably will be out on other networks in time , I can see very good reasons for having a nice staggarded launch considering it is their first phone out on the market. Quote:
The 'pretty interface' is not just a pretty face. It's built on a solid robust operating system that has many advanced features built in but maintains reliability and speed all the time. I've rebooted mine once since Nov 9th and that was because I randomly dialled somethings like **##21##d and it was trying to transmit it. It is a premium product with a large bright crisp glass fronted screen, an aluminium back and a metal rim. Not plastic sprayed silver like other phones. It's benn in my pocket with keys and loose change, knocked off my bedside table on to my wood floor boards and dropped from waist height onto the road and it's still in first class condition. I can't think of a phone that has a better screen that this one. This is the nicest phone to use on the market and future iphpnes with 3/4g are going to be the phones to have. Have you seen the demos of the games that will be out in the summer on it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y16Zv...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNKSFUOz5r8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy0ptZisr70 Can you phone do this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcB8C...eature=related Looking forward to getting this as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAsSA...eature=related As well a a version of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2gIca...eature=related |
Re: 3
hi ppl is the Sony Ericsson W910i any gd
|
Re: 3
The Nokia N95 8GB is a good option IMO. I personally dont like 3 as around here the signal is not great.

Re: 3
The more mobiles can do the more masts are needed & if they are not enough where you live/use your mobile your signal will suffer.
We have problems getting a basic phone signal downstairs for texts or calls let alone anything else. BTW Sony Ericsson are making good phones at the moment, Nokia rested on their laurels for a while and you got crap batteries & suchlike. Hopefully with the iPhone competition it will buck their ideas up. |
Re: 3
N95 is a greta model of mobile handset. I would look at this or any Sony Ericsson handset. The W910i is another decent handset too.
