You are of course joking, aren't you ? There would be thousands, I guess

Might help a bit if you told people what you were looking at getting ?

Quicktime Trailers @ 1080p will actually be streamable :)... I hope.

Re: What sites can support 20Mb+

Its not really the sites that will be able to delive 20mb, its more how good the routes are. If you know a site thats hosted on one of the telewest or ntl datacenter connections, then you should get the 20mb downloads all the time, if however they are hosted elsewhere, then it can be effected by so many things that you might get it and you might not.

Re: What sites can support 20Mb+

awibble is correct. What VM are giving you is a 20mb connection to their network (perhaps!). The speed you actually get from any site outside their network is in the lap of the gods and depends on so many factors, its impossible to list them.

if you game and want the latest demos and patches, i generally use:

www.gamershell.com

gives you a whole list of very fast servers to download from.

Re: What sites can support 20Mb+

Sorry, but it will only be any faster if VM also upgrade their external connections.

If VM dont upgrade their external connections, then the speed could actually get worse, as a few manage to get 20mb external and fill the pipes.

Re: What sites can support 20Mb+

The answer to the ops question is simple . Any site allowing multiple connections to it and using a multi threaded download tool such as reget set to a large number of connections and subject to contention both ends will be able to support 20 meg +

Re: What sites can support 20Mb+

If you really want to download and check the 20 meg speed in that case my suggestion will be any peer to peer software.. look for the best available file over there download it and check the speed.

or try this link from microsoft website

http://aoe3trial.notlong.com

download the file and then check the speed..

Sorry, i just have a premium account, so i thought everyone could get the full 10 down... Just tested and you're right, only 4-6Mb if you use a Free account. I never knew this.

www.logitech.com can sustain 1.20Mb/s with one thread, so it's a good bet they'll support a 20Mb down for all your driver downloads :)
