Missing Channels

I see Virgin Media are at it again :Yikes:

BBC3, BBC4 Cbeebies have now vanished (probably gone to the same place as SKY1)

Or, maybe there is just a fault?

Re: Missing Channels

Probably a reboot of the STB is needed here!

Try that.

Still working here in Derby. Think you're wrong.

Re: Missing Channels

Have now tried a second Reboot (left it off for longer) and they have come back from the abyss.

My next question is why did they vanish

Re: Missing Channels

Perhaps they as you said went out in sympathy with Sky... ;)

Re: Missing Channels

There's apparently a fault, according to a recorded message on the VM faults line...

We're missing those channels too at the moment, plus a few others like Living and some other kids channels. They've been coming and going for the past few days, much to the annoyance of my 6-yr-old!

Re: Missing Channels

Channels not broadcasting here too - BBC2. living, bravo, challenge among others....tried to ring faults but was engaged !

Re: Missing Channels

I am missing BBC2 also.

To get round this, use channel 865 which is BBC2 England. That is still working.

Re: Missing Channels

OOOOPS - Disney Channel +1 has gone west (Manchester) - not tried a reboot as yet. What with the poor quality pixelated picture too...I'm glad I'm still withing the 30 days :-)

We are having this same discussion in the 18.58 blackout in Oxted thread i am in north manchester and lose beeb 2 every night just in time for masterchef and lose everything for about 30 secs at 19.00 an engineer called today and changed the box no difference and its still a PACE

scrotnig 09-03-2007 20:03

Re: Missing Channels

Use channel 865 when BBC2 goes off...I've had to do this three nights running now during masterchef.

Re: Missing Channels

For some reason channels tend to get lost and go missing..A reboot has always solved this problem.

Re: Missing Channels

Has discovery kids gone awol too? just wondering, as it says "ceased to broadcast" so i don't know if it's something to do with sky or not, as all the other discovery channels we have are still on air.
