|
Re: Nintendo Wii
thanks BUT a bit too expensive...
We are looking for one at RRP £180....... |
Re: Nintendo Wii
Are most places still out of stock then?
|
Re: Nintendo Wii
Yes unfortunatly..
Been looking here http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/default.asp everyday |
Re: Nintendo Wii
Hmm.
I've just had a look at the GAME website... still won't even let you place a backorder. None at Argos or Gamestation either. Bit crap. I almost bought one just after Christmas, as my local GAME actually had a few in stock...they would only sell them as part of a bundle though. |
Re: Nintendo Wii
Me like my Wii
|
Re: Nintendo Wii
try here http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/wii_console_realtime.asp it updates every 60 seconds
|
Re: Nintendo Wii
just go into game, and ask to have your name put on a waiting list for one, I only waited about 4 days

Re: Nintendo Wii
Get one from Amazon Germany.
http://www.amazon.de/o/ASIN/B0009PRC...837932-3236008 I think shipping is not too bad and takes about a week. Worked out cheaper than UK last time I checked. |
Re: Nintendo Wii
I got mine from Amazon.de as well.. really quick delivery all things considered and worked out at £175 (inc delivery).
You will also need to get an adapter for the plug, but that will only cost a couple of quid. |
Re: Nintendo Wii
I don't know if it is the same all over the country but Woolworths took stock of some in Northampton the other day.
|
Re: Nintendo Wii
If you don't want to order online from Germany, it will be a case of calling into, or phoning, the usual suspects each morning until you get one. Woolies expect regular arrivals and GAME will get them in too. But I suggest also watching Amazon, Ebuyer, Argos and GAME websites each morning  .

Re: Nintendo Wii
Try gameplay.co.uk
I think the waiting time is only... say... 2 weeks max?! |

Re: Nintendo Wii
Sounds daft - but if you have a large Tesco near you try there. I walked in, went to the electronics counter and said "Suppose I'm asking a silly question - but do you have any Wii in stock?" and snagged the last one in my store a while back.

Re: Nintendo Wii
I bought on in Game on Saturday. Phoned around most of the morning and managed to find one of the Glasgow stores got a few on friday and still had one left.
Lucky me is now a Wii owner :) |
Re: Nintendo Wii
I just got one last thursday for my birthday and it f'in rocks!
It came from Amazon.de (germany) and was under UK RRP including delivery. I have since bought the component cable for my LCD screen, Wii Play with the second remote and Sonic and the Secret Rings |
Re: Nintendo Wii
I need to get the component cable as the composite cable that comes with the console looks terrible on my LCD TV.
