Tv drive firmware updates today, faster channel change
 

Since about 1am last night my tv drive has received about 4 updates now changeing channel is even faster,

How fast is channel change? When keying in a channel number or channel up/down, how long does it take for the actual picture to appear? thanks.

My TVDive got the V+ firmware about 7am this morning in swindon.

It asks me every time to reboot the receiver i spoke to some head tech guys at ntl yesterday and they have asked me how the receiver is going as they are makeing changes to the network,

Looks like the UK2 firmware is being rolled out more. Hope Cambridge gets it soon.

Impressed by the new look so far. Much prefer the list layout than navigating across boxes.

Just a different look in my limited testing so far. VOD still incomplete.

All navigation is certainly quicker, e.g. using TV Drive and Home button functions, navigating through the TV guide, etc. I can't see any difference in channel-changing speed though.

Other bug fixes, time will tell..........

I've had a few updates, but still on the NTL EPG, plus the yellow series link button is now missing!!

Does seem quicker though, still waiting for the rebrand.

HHmm - I called customer services today about something else and they told me on the phone that my tv drive would get the new firmware on the 4th Feb (Sandy Beds)
