43 years ago today I was in Warwickshire on summer camp with the Lancashire Fusiliers Army Cadet Corp. Stuffing straw into a pallyass ( large bag ) to make my matress. :) With JFK, I was working on a farm in Gt Harwood near Blackburn and was pushing a large wheelbarrow full of Shi--manure up the yard. when I heard the news about Lennon I was driving my Hotpoint van along Milnrow Road near to my home.:( I don't include Diana as I was in bed listening to the news on the radio alarm. |
