So could this be an indication of speed increases to come?

Re: Telewest Network Upgrades
A certain cableco has had this sort of bandwidth and higher to hubs and headends for years ;)

Re: Telewest Network Upgrades
But that ISP turned out to be the one with slower speeds with caps in place.

Re: Telewest Network Upgrades
Yeah slower by most reports than by coming from this forum :D and yeah you can just hear the cries from people going over their 'cap in place' :D

We see a lot of the worst of it here and on ADSLGuide, necessarily so, happy people don't tend to post about how great their service is. |

Yep. I've had a rock solid connection for over 2 1/2 years now and the only time I can remember it being off for any length of time was a few hours when some workmen decided to get busy with a JCB and some of the main fibre links in the South Side of Glasgow. Even with that it was back in about 6 hours. If people aren't happy and there are alternatives (like 99% of the country for internet connections) then they will move it is as simple as that. As the number of connections are increasing for broadband I can quite happily say the vast majority are happy with the service. |
Re: Telewest Network Upgrades
Been on Blueyonder since 2001 the first year or so was a bit shacky but since then theres rarely a outage and no speed/ping issues.
