email anyone

hi, seems email has gone off for about the last 30 min, anyone else? Service status talks of maintenance last night and it was grand early this morning but not now.

Yep, mine has been down the past few days too on a couple of my Email accounts.

SMTP is working fine but it looks like POP access is a bit hit and miss, I'm getting no complaints about POP timing out here but Chi is. Mind you my email address was originally created while I was in Peterborough, maybe it's hosted on a different area of the server :erm:

It will be on a different MSS (server ;))- there are about 8 or 9 as I recall. Mine is fine.

Mine was off altogether last week when most of the e-mail system was borked. Since then it has worked but downloading e-mails has been very slow, its like a dail up connection from Ntl, my Zen mail box downloads in a flash so I know it is not a fault at my end.

I am still downloading e-mails from Ntl at snails pace. Even downloading the headers into Mailwasher is taking ages. Just now it took over 45 seconds to download 5 e-mails from Ntl, whilst 4 from my Zen account accessed via my BB connection downloaded in a second.

Anyone else having this problem, it has been like this since the major outage last week.
