I wondered what your mp3 ringtone is. What is the bit rate length etc. I am about to use the first 55 secs of Smashing Pimpkins - Siamese Dream - Cherub Rock. Sound right?

Orange phones automatically cut to answerphone after 30 seconds, so there's no point making your track any longer than that if you're on Orange ... don't know about the other networks.

My ringtone is a poly called 'Clouds' that Dilli sent me after it was posted on the forum a while back in a thread about midi files. It's just a nice, peaceful tune.

At present my main one is the CTU ringtone from 24, and as my text alert the sound of the TARDIS materialising :)

I do have other things for other people. Baywatch theme for my GF.

Annoying that isnt it :mad: Ive just stuck with the "cookoo cookoo" default one. My current ringtone is the theme from the IT Crowd, though sometimes I swap between The theme from Futurama, Cheers and Have I got news for you. I also sometimes use songs such as Interpol - Antics, The used - I caught fire and a bit of coldplay from time to time.

sweet choice, but there are better, as that song starts slowly then builds up.

As said some networks only provide a certain amount of time before your answerphone kicks in. but who cares, you can have what you want as long as you want.

My main rington is a standard ring ring, but like an old phone.
whehn 2 certain people phone me I have Magnum p.i. for one and seseme street for the other.

I have toyed with the idea of putting arab strap on as my main ringtone, but then I would hate arab strap eventually, so this must be a no no.

I have many different ones just now. Flintstones for my bro, the Fame theme for my mate Liane, Imperial march for work numbers, Baywatch theme for my G/F and Soft cell tainted love for everyone else, there are more personalised ones but that would take to long to list them all.

I downloaded the software (off the disc that came with the phone) onto the pooter, and then connect my phone (V3 RAZR) via the USB cable :)
