Ok thanks for the replys.

Not having any problems with any other sites, seems very strange. I am not very technical with computers, any ideas or things i could try would be very much appreciated. As i mentioned the page wont load, i am getting the white screen up with the cannot find server page.

TIA.

Re: Problem with Website

i just went on it again ok
but noticed it has pop ups which windows service pack 2 block & asks you if you want to allow
you dont have your security web settings to high to block sites with pop ups or have visited site before and accidently blocked just a thought

Just a follow up.

When i have tried to connect to the website and i get the page cannot be displayed error....I then clicked on properties and it says

res://C:\WINDOWS\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#http://www.boxden.com

Obviously an error here....any ideas anyone please??

Thanks again.

Re: Problem with Website

No, it works perfectly well with firefox.

Redboat, it could be a problem with you local ntl proxy, if you know how to specify anther ntl proxy, do so using port 8080, but try a different region proxy such as swan-cache-4.server.ntli.net.

A full list can be found here, http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/article.php?a=10

Hope that helps.

Toto gave you the list of proxies in his post :)

For Internet Explorer, have a look here.

For firefox, just scroll down the page.

Have you got a router?

Do you connect to the internet via a standalone cable modem or through you tv set top box?

I don't use a SACM, so I can't help you there. Sorry :)

The IP address for your SACM should start what you quoted (192.168.X.X). If you remember it, put it in.

isn't the modem

http://192.168.100.1/

login as 'leave blank', literally for user name, or 'admin'; 'admin' is the password, either way ;)

To put in the bypass proxy for local server thing in IE, all you need is the address ;)

I just had a look at mine :dunce: and if you put 192.168.* the star will act as wild card, which will work for the SACM and any router.
