Re: F4J at it again
I don't want to the terrorist's job any easier...but I have a plan...
why don't you dress up as Superman/ batman/ Captain America (*delete as applicable) and sneak into a secure area, maybe Downing Street or Hoses of Parliment... carry a banner saying some activist rubbish...and a big bag on Anthrax... ....the public will help you as much as they can, maybe hold a door or two open for you...and the police will just look on in a disapproving manner...but don't worry...you'll get within an inch of your targets! ;) |

Re: F4J at it again
Can you imagine this happening in New York or WDC!!
...Superman would soon find out whether bullet's bounce off of him!!!... (We'd then add that to the curse of Superman tale thing!!!) |

The march sounds like a good idea, but who'd actually go and march? I would because I believe in the cause, and I have the time and it is good exercise, but most people don't have the time, or energy to be able to march effectively. There are loads of marches with a few people in them, but they never seem to do any good. |

Re: F4J at it again
Dunno but the bearded guy in the Captain America costume looks like he may have lost his dog :p:

Re: F4J at it again
If they fancied a laugh, they should try scaling Whitehall dressed as Bin Laden...

Re: F4J at it again
A march where everyone is in costume? Sounds good to me and if I was not working I'd go and support them.
Thousands of Batmen,Robins,Supermen and any other comic book hero marching en masse would be a sight worth seeing. :tu: |

Re: F4J at it again
respect to them ...dads get a crapy deal in this country ,whilst some women are allowed to use our children as weapon against us .

Re: F4J at it again
Good to see Matt O'Connor getting involved again. He did actually bow out as his group was starting to get infested with nasty millitant types, but looks like he's regaining power again  :)
Great banner though - "A father is for life, not just conception" - Now they just need one to mention that fathers/estranged fathers are treated as cashpoints. |

A very good friend of mine was thoroughly financially and emotionally shafted by his ex who admitted to him that she wanted custody of the children for purely financial reasons. Since she achieved that aim (in spite of reservations about her acknowledged by CAFCASS) and despite only working part time, all she's done is to use him to do her parenting job whenever possible and palm them off onto other people when he isn't around to do it. Of course every so often she mucks him about and stops him seeing the kids just to remind him who's got all the cards.... It's quite shocking really but the system doesn't give a stuff about the rights of fathers and it's about time it did! |
Re: F4J at it again
I think it would be a better plan for one parent to get custody for the first 8 years with payments from the other and then for the last 8 years(up to 16)the roles are reversed and the parent who has had custody has to make payments to the other.
Or something along those lines...That way neither is going to be wanting to stitch up the other for the sheer hell of it because what goes around comes around. |
Re: F4J at it again
Trouble is Coggy too many so called adults like to use the kiddies as chess pieces when they split up\divorce. End of the day the kids welfare is most important and the parent that can best serve the children is the parent that should have majority custody this is not what happens at the minute and it's the kids that suffer.

Personally I would take children away from both parents if these sort of games were being played. They do not benefit the children at all. |
