Does it have the right GRPS settings?

Don't know about your phone, but mine uses different connections for net via GPRS & MMS via GPRS.

Or it could just be the network...mine will sometimes fail to send an MMS ("cannot connect to WAP gateway"), while other times it will be fine.

Are the settings in place for MMS and picture messaging? These are two different things.

You could try the network's website and get them to SMS the settings to you?

Might be worth checking with O2 that they have actually enabled this service on your account.

Had a mate with the same problem, turned out that 02 hadn't turned him on!! :naughty:

Re: Mms 6230 ?

GPRS (browsing) and MMS are totally separate on the 6230.
You need to phone o2 and see if they can do a complicated sounding thing called "over the air configuration", which basically means programming your mobile by sending you a text message.

Re: Mms 6230 ?

That might not be your 6230 - when I was with 3 you could not send or receive MMS unless it was from another 3 sim - I know they've relaxed the rules slightly now but not sure if this dozy idea has been completely lifted.
