You have too much time on your hands Roger lol

Rabbit 22-08-2003 00:58

OMG. I never ned to find a calculator again. What would we do without google?

ic14 22-08-2003 10:11

Thats accually a clever feature....

Seb 22-08-2003 10:36

I'm impressed with that, think i will be using that a lot more now!! Shame you cant do scientific calculations on it :D!

Lord Nikon 22-08-2003 10:50

Windows Calculator, Start / All Programs / Accessories / Calculator

Click on View, then Scientific :D

Rabbit 22-08-2003 11:04

why use windows cal when you can use google though?

Seb 22-08-2003 11:07

it easier to got to IE, automatically loads homepage (Google). Less step required than opening Windows calc!! Well as i'm at college i'm the proud owner of a graphical calulator, so i'll do me scientific stuff on that :P

Ben 22-08-2003 11:36

Start -- > Run -- > Calc :p

Rabbit 22-08-2003 11:41

I must find my graphical calc. I've not seen it for ages. used to love doing the bit of old programming on there too

Whats better about 2.0? Seems the same to me exept it changed the homepage to google Argentena!:D

Shaun 22-08-2003 15:09

Theres an auto fill button, blogger, and direct access to further inof on the site visiting.

It's also easier to change you configeration as it doesn't divert to a html page when you choose options.

Oh and theres a built in pop up blocker.

Oh and a button to let you navagatie direct to their mac/linux pages.

2 + 2 is possibly 4, but don't bank on it as did you know that 2 = 1. Not convinced? Here's the proof.

Let a = b

a^2 = ab

a^2 + a^2 = a^2 + ab

2a^2 = a^2 + ab

2a^2 - 2ab = a^2 + ab - 2ab

2(a^2 - ab) = 1(a^2 - ab)

Cancelling (a^2 - ab) from both sides gives 2 = 1

Exulus 23-08-2003 22:37

mmmm, thats confusing but in this last step:

2(a^2 - ab) = 1(a^2 - ab)

You say that a and b are the same, and so the bits in the brakets will always equal 0, so you are just saying 0=0? :D

Yep. And when you cancel out you are dividing zero by zero, which is indeterminate.

Fascinating! What about:

Or even (glad to see that it's au fait with the more obscure Iso prefixes):
http://www.google.com/search?q=ton+i...=Google+Search

And they haven't forgotten the golden oldies:
