Uhm. I create Signatures and Avatars in Photoshop 7. I specialise in Blood grunge - Transparency and layers, etc.

can you manipulate using photoship ie introduce/reduce affects id like something striking, in a 'blend' look ?

I particularly like 2, 4, and 6.
They have a very experimental style to them and that uneven splattered kind of look.

Sorry to be a whinger, but I think a max height of 50px would be much better for signature images in general. Bear in mind that most people get frustrated with browsing a thread when they get a huge advertising type image every other post, so a neutral colour scheme would be helpful too.
Large images also hinder those on 56k connections.

Mine may be big, but it's PNG and isn't large at all. I don't have a back-ground on it so it's 56K friendly :)

Exactly Russ ;) :tu:, having a large signature image or one that is just a picture and no useful information is the internet equivalent of being a chav riceboy ( owning a car that is all modifications and no grunt, it may look nice but it's no use whatsoever and generally makes you look like an idiot. plus, they're obviously compensating for something too ;) )

Any one able to make the background on my avatar so it fits with any background it hits? I've been trying to get the correct colour but I can't match it and if I do part of the fruit turns black :(

it is of Major Motoko Kusanagi doing a spinning kick on a guy she is chasing, they are in water up to their ankles. from the film Ghost in the shell
