Kazza

Have they started charging to join, is there no free download page anymore?

Where else does file sharing?

Thank you.

Re: Kazza

Kazza lite resurection from http://www.filesharingplace.com/ :tu:

still no spyware. :D

Re: Kazza

Kazaa Lite is a much better option over Kazaa, because it doesn't install third party programs (Gator for example).
You probably won't find Kazaa Lite on most websites since the makers of Kazaa stopped it and got all the main sites that hosted it to take the file down.

It is still around though, you can download it either through the original Kazaa, or any other P2P program.

Re: Kazza

Everytime I install it I get that error message about sending not sending the report to m$. Why is it not working for me?

Cheers

Re: Kazza

Which version are you trying to install?

HornetUK 21-06-2004 18:51

Re: Kazza

Download Kazaa Lite Resurrection:
Version: 0.0.7.5

Re: Kazza

Hmm, don't know why :erm:

try an older version from my webspace here

HornetUK 22-06-2004 22:01

Re: Kazza

Tried that same problem, doing my head in now! Can't see any reason why it won't work. As soon as I click to open I just get the error message.

Any more ideas/solutions

Cheers

Re: Kazza

I have not had any problems like that when setting up ???????
What is the full error message, can you find any other info ?

Re: Kazza

Odd

If you still can't get Kazaa Lite Resurrection to work, then try & find the latest version of Kazaa Lite K++ (there've been a couple of threads here where d/l links for it have been given)

Shaun 22-06-2004 23:19

Re: Kazza

If you cant find a copy of K++ PM me and I'll attach a copy for you ;)

Although I've found that lately I cant find stuff on K++ thats on resurrection!

HornetUK 23-06-2004 20:56

Re: Kazza

The message is the one that gives you the option of sending a report to M$ or not sending it.

It reads Kazalite.kpp has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Can't understand why its happening it never used to for the last 12 months and Bearshare and WinMX work fine.

Cheers again

Re: Kazza

Have you uninstalled any old versions first?
If you are trying to install over an older version then that may be the problem.

Yay for Kazza Lite Resurrection. I wouldn't use anything else. Highly recommended. The new one which has come out this month is certainly faster.

Re: Kazza

I just don't understand why Kaza won't work for me! Uninstalled it and tried all different other downloads but still the same error message.

Re: Kazza

I'm having the same trouble as Hornet >_> have restarted computer several times, as well as uninstalled Kazaa Lite and kept downloading from different sites, same error message keeps coming up when I try to open it (kazaalite.kpp has encountered a problem and needs to close)... don't know all that much about fixing files/ computers. I was considering getting the win XP cd (o/s i use) and choosing to repair the files with that as i've read someone did that with this sort of problem but I never did that so not sure if it would mess anything up. argh if anyone knows how to fix this your help would be greatly appreciated

cant be legal, If i am gonna pay i will pay for legal tracks. Not gonna pay for ilegal tracks. I MEAN WHATS THE POINT? why PAY for illegal stuff!? you get it FREE! normally. I am not paying for the sake of paying I am paying for quality of music and it being legal

Also every tracks has all the information and correct names and grammar. Handier for collecting digital music

qoute:
5.2. Third party authors' and musicians' music is provided as per terms of the License agreement No. LS-ÃÃâ€*’â€Â ¡M-R-V-EDD-04-83, with the "Russian Multimedia and Internet society" (ROMS). Under the License agreement ********* musical server pays license fees for all the materials, subject to it.

So it is under license even if it is Russian

Damien 11-07-2004 18:19

Re: Kazza

The record companys have to agree and so on. Also that Russian thing does sound odd

Smart idea ;)

I it is really unfair of apple to only allow one download if you laptop is nicked you lose all your tunes :(

Also when file formats improve and change will we have to buy all the songs again?

swoop101 11-07-2004 18:50

Re: Kazza

Check PM's I will not spam this site. :D

This site also lets you re-download a track for a month after purchase.

emules just the official one, there are other mods you can use. emuleplus, emule sivka, morphnext, blackhand are just a few. Theres about 100 out there, just be careful of fake ones which charge or have spyware in it or are leeching programs. I betatest emuleplus. http://emuleplus.info/
