and here starts a general rant...........

i dont know if this is recent or something i have become blatently 'switched on to' but is there a real sense of anarchy when it comes to other people (namely your mates) who talk about things which you get sick of, or absolutely useless conversations, too many incoherant conversations.....

i say this because everyone who i talked to offline seems to have a rather dull attitude, of either worrying about where they are going on holiday 6 months down the line for the other six months :rolleyes:

or talking about useless reality tv shows, such mindnumbingly boring shows which are called dramas, but show a tit for tat side of them when it comes to intrcate storylines.........

i dont know it might just be me, i like talking about allsorts really, but its gets boring being limited to a few things every day, even if you try and switch subjects, be serious, or try make things interesting you get laughed at, or get random obscenties or jokes thrown at you.........................

Yes I get anoyed with people like this.
Some people seem to be stuck in a bubble where they will only talk about one thing, eg. whenever you meet them it will always be the same conversation, it will never change.

There are two things I find wrong with this.

1) You should talk about several things, vary the topics, and by talking about other things you discover new things which widens your world.

2) Talking about the same thing constantly shows no respect for others. I think you need to listen to what everyone has to say, not just your same story all the time. Part of communication is listening to other people and if people cant do that and only repeat their own stories, then things dont work.

exactly it gets highly annoying and it limits a conversation, i like to broaden things a little........


yep, exactly i like to talk about worthwhile things politics, technology, music, things happening around you 'whats out there' :)

i get that all the time, as soon as my point comes across i get 'overpowered' by another comment :rolleyes:

hence why my frustration kicks in, ill give you an example:

one of my mates for the past month has been talking about:

a) his debts

b) his potential trip to new york

c) 'newly added' his new projector

thats all :rolleyes:
