I think it has the potential to be very good, it looks very 4400'y and it has been yonks since it finished so I don't mind a more updated version.

Internal sources say this is looking good for a season 2 renewal.

The showrunner, Jeff Rake, has indicated they have a 6 year plan for the series.

yeah, I have still only seen episode 1 and it was okay but it didn't jump out at me as a 6 season series, more like a 3.

I have only seen the pilot. I have been too busy catching up with other stuff but I am nearly there. Make sure you move Stranger Things to the top of your list of things to watch.

I still havent caught up and i really should, i keep finding new things to watch. I watched the pilot when it aired and thought it was ok but left it at the time because i had too many series on the go. Atm i am watching Devs (which i should finish tonight) and then i am binging Kingdom. I have fallen in love with korean stuff after Parasite and Train to Busan.

the nice thing is that because of how the US paces tv series over the year there is only a few months break over summer and then it all starts again.

I expect Covid to disrupt these schedules though if filming hasn't been completed for shows in 2021.

nope, I am absolutely rubbish. I have been off since just before the new year due to lockdown and I really should have planned to watch it. In addition to numerous films I have watched Lost, ST Enterprise, SG Universe and Jeremiah. With regards to current series I have only got Greys and TWD to catch up on so I might start watching it tomorrow and see how much I can get through before I have to go back to work next Tuesday.

So it aired the other day. I enjoyed it but something seems off with it. I think it may of been due to the camera angles they used due to social distancing. I can look past that though as it's not a problem unique to just one show is it.

I'm so glad to have been proved wrong on this. Being in the top 10 of viewing hours on Netflix for 8 weeks will have helped though.

Although I didn't like the series it just shows that a series can't reach its full potential until you give it the right platform (like The Expanse on Amazon) and make it accessible to all. I don't even know what channel it was on over here.

Neither do I, I get most of my SciFi direct from US or Canada now, saves waiting for a UK broadcaster to pick it up.

that's not answering me because it is completely irrelevant to what I said. All I said was that I didn't know what channel it was on over here if I did want to watch it, whether it be Sky One, Sky Witness, Syfy, PickTV etv, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc and you said it is obvious as it will have the NBC network logo on it and it won't.

Currently its on Natflix. I think it was Sky One that had previously aired it.

S4 looks like it's on Netflix at least part 1anyway. Looks like my best option for S3 is CinemaHD.

As far as I'm aware, Season 3 is on Netflix.
Its on Prime, but apparently has to be bought.
Its also available from the usual "other" sources.
