HbA1c is down to 34 so totally no longer a diabetic. Not needed insulin since the day of the transplant. Kidney function of 57% which is apparently fantastic. Everything else is well in range too, Calcium, potassium, iron, phosphate etc.

Full of energy and excited to resume my normal life and soon looking for a job so I can get back too work. Past five years have mostly been a waste and also a nightmare loosing both parent and all the dialysis and hospital stays and extra surgeries since the transplant.

Onwards and upwards. I'm feeling super positive.

Really pleased for you (and your family) - well, done, Stephen.

Yep, they are great, been on them since 2018.
My levels were never considered high but doc suggested them anyway.
They reduced my overall score from 4.2 to 2.5, which is apparently ok.

Wow that's more than my entire body weight. I lost a stone over Christmas and now due to see a dietician to see how to put that back on.

Over a stone a month is unreal. Well done you. I don't know what your target is but as long you're doing it right and not being unhealthy then congrats to you.

I was 31 stone now 21 stone. My goal is somewhere around 15 hopefully by the end of the year. I desperately want to see below 20 stone by mid to end of March

SWMBO turned up last night with our latest rescue a 2yr old ex racing greyhound called Rossi who it would appear wasn’t very good at racing.

Stinks of kennels
Missing patches of fur
Needs feeding up
Pee’d all over the rug (twice)
Never been up a set of stairs before
Didn’t know what to do with his bed apart from try to eat it

Love at first sight and love him to bits
