Thats a 2Mb line. Its too consistant to be a peak time 4Mb.

I mean I am on 4M but I was not upgraded so far, however, stable 2M makes me happy because sometimes everything moves like a snail.

Still on 2mb here in M29 Manchester on NTL 250 CM......:mad:
But hey i'm happy as i phoned NTL today and got the bill reduced so i'm well happy.:)

I certainly am. I don't want it broken.

If I had one of the more up to date modems it wouldn't fuss me so much but this is a 120.

As Baguley was meant to be done tonight and many people in Manchester are saying they have the upgrade, it looks like I will be left alone in peace.

I'd sooner have a stable 2mb connection than a dodgy 4mb one.

I don't really care if they upgrade it or not...I am sure it will still work anyway. But if they don't I won't be ringing up chasing it (especially not now the call isn't free).

The price I pay (£24.99 ) is a fair price for a decent service. If I wanted some cheap crap there's plenty of ADSL providers out there selling utter ****e for next to nothing.

I have decided to be all grumpy and curmudgeonly throughout this thread. I haven't done that for quite a while, so now seems as good a time as any.

I shall attempt to poop anyone's party about upgrades and the like. Suggestions welcome.
