That is eight shows on one channel. I can't think of another channel that has that many shows that interest me. And there will be other shows that interest other people. And you can add to those, other highly rated shows that are no longer current but were/are only available on Atlantic, such as The Borgias, Friday Night Lights and Fleming.

As l say there is more then one way to skin a cat.;)

Although, judging by the overnight posts it would appear that the channels were, indeed, re-encrypted well before 6am. It seems that MB's prediction was correct.

I am not an avid watcher of TV (except sport) but I recently had to take 6 months off.
I had heard so much of this Game of Thrones so to relieve the boredom I obtained the first 3 series. (legally of course - cough).

I have to say I was completely hooked and have now watched all 4 series and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.

Another positive note is my wife has just started to watch it and is so engrossed she is forgetting to give me my orders. LOL :dmonk:

That was on purpose, as I was listing shows that I watch and Ray Donovan just didn't work for me, sorry.

Ray Donovan scores over 8 on IMDB (like many other shows on SA, as you correctly pointed out). Surely by you telling me that shows must be good due to their being highly rated, how can you say Ray Donovan is not for you? Would care to explain the difference between you not liking something shown on SA and me not liking something shown (and me also not caring for the shows I have seen trailers for) on SA?

Does watching stuff on Netherlands Netflix play audio in English or is it in Dutch?

I'm thinking he meant over the course of a year it offers a decent enough selection of content to appeal to different tastes.

TiVo is HDMI 1.3. To watch a 3D programme you have to manually select 3D mode on the TV.

Compare with V+, which is HDMI 1.4, and will automatically switch compatible TVs to 3D mode. I can't see it ever being implemented on TiVo given that 3D is more or less dead.

English language shows will have English dialogue with subtitles in the Netflix region's native languages. Services such as Unblock-us allow you to turn these off.

Why doesn't Ofcom sort Sky out for withholding a channel that has the most illegal downloaded show?

HBO themselves have been accused of plagiarism

We did suggest they might offer Now TV with Sky Atlantic included as a 3rd party subscription (like Netflix) on TIVO boxes but they denied they were looking at this.

The latest internal rumours are that they might offer this on non-BT Youview boxes but this is just gossip for the time being.

Just to put some reality on this though, we were told that BT wouldn't be getting Sky Sports 5 but recent developments have totally contradicted this.

So Sky Atlantic changes really depend on how much extra they "Sky Corporate" might make from such a deal.

Sky Atlantic programming is on BFBS, anyone who really wants to watch SA could consider joining up :D

I don't have hbo nordic as they stopped accepting cards outside nordic region.
Dunno if any are on any uk channels i got rid of tivo and freeview, only use on demand now.

I thought I had read that the credit card thing was a blip and had been sorted out, but I may be getting confused with something else

What time did the channels unencrypt? I'm wondering if they were unencrypted and scrambled again early due to VM technical limitations.

The HDMI Standard is software firmware as the transfer rate is the same for 1.3 & 1.4 versions Tivo haven't made this firmware upgrade yet maybe they reckon they don't the need for the upgrade or its a limitation of their software, either way either way its out of our control...
