So are you saying that divers should not be discussed or just not when it involves Liverpool? ;)

You can discuss it as much as you can but lets not narrow it down to just one player as there are many players in the PL that dive just like Suarez.

I have yet to find a dive like Suarez's one from yesterday this season.

That was shocking!

Yes it was shocking but this also should be frowned upon as well in my mind.

Well it has been discussed about other players, but as soon as Suarez is mentioned, you try to deflect attention away by posting a link about another case, in a "he's done it, why can't I" sort of way. Remember the debate last season about Ashley Young? ;)

But no one is saying it shouldn't be. I think, like most Liverpool fans I know, you need to take off your red/rosy coloured glasses ;) lol.........

Suarez has bought on his difficulties in winning legitimate penalties on himself. Not the first time he's blatantly dived like he did.

There is no excuse about what Suarez did but l think its important we don't narrow this down to just one player and embrace in a wider debate about the widespread use of diving in football.

This exactly, It's inappropriate and completely unfair and bias to punish one player for diving if this evidently happens every week. If Suarez is banned then at least 10 others are due a ban too.

A dive is a dive regardless of what it looks like, they are all diving for the same reason so regardless should all be punished equally. Suarez has only been called on because of what he did last season, if it had been another player diving I'm confident to say it would be brushed under the mat.

I haven't seen the incident so I can't really comment on it but whatever Luis does there will always be a problem
Brendan Rodger's of course, I'm sick of Managers running away from it, Of course he's seen it. I hope after Tony Pulis makes another diving outburst he'd have the balls to admit it when one of his players does it. Similar to Pardew admitting Everton should have had two goals against Newcastle.

Yes that was my point last season, but that didn't happen. Now that it's Suarez, it's unfair. If you accept the criticism as well as give it, that's all my point is ;)

Lets be honest as well, if we were to ban divers, FIFA would have to follow suit forcing every other FA to do it across the globe.

This meaning the entire Barcelona reserve side would be playing regular games less than a game into the season because the first team had been given 3 game bans for diving.

Better yet as one guy said, In South America you'd be looking at calling the under 9's up after the entire first team and academy had been dismissed for diving.

Owen Coyle sacked as manager of Bolton, favourites are Mick McCarthy and Neil Warnock to take over. If either got the job, I would be so disgusted. Bolton is where I was born, so feel passionately about this.

Maybe take a leaf out of someone else's book and use my Football Manager experience to apply for the job!
