Re: The iPhone thread

Yup. I've just done it... Just because I can. :D

Before JBing, I also used Umbrella to store my SHSH blobs locally:

Jailbreakme.com... easiest Jailbreak I've ever used. Much quicker & simpler than Redsn0w & Blackra1n.

Although... given that it does it via the browser, it must be a rather dodgy hole which Apple will surely be fixing soon...

Cydia is so slow at the moment. Can't get anything to load. May just have to try & sort the rest out tomorrow.

Not sure if this has been posted already, apologies if it has but quick tip if you're on a 3G, 3GS, Ipod Touch and iOS4 and you're getting freezing, application crashing and/or slowdown problems, go into settings/general/home button/spotlight and turn off everything, seems to have worked for me.

You can laugh, but that is technically vandalism. After all, it involves altering the system software in a device owned by someone else.

Would you feel the same way if they'd smashed a window?

So is writing on Walls. On stuff you own. My point is that these people are making changes to the os on devices they don't own.
