My one is always switched off when I turn my PC off, but I'll try it every now and again. Is it OK just to pull out the cable at the back of the modem, so that the lights go out, then push the cable back in?

I wonder if Stoke cable modems have been upped yet? Probably not. They said end of June, they didn't say which year!

I think I have been upgraded to 4meg but I only seem to get around 3 judging by everybody elses results. I am in oxford using a ntl120 modem.

2nd 512K took 1500 ms = 341.3 KB/sec, approx 2812 Kbps, 2.75 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1500 ms = 341.3 KB/sec, approx 2812 Kbps, 2.75 Mbps
4th 512K took 1485 ms = 344.8 KB/sec, approx 2841 Kbps, 2.77 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 2850 Kbps, 2.79 Mbps

any ideas?
