Thank you everyone for you kind wishes, he still tested positive for covid this morning, but is able to get about with the aid of a walking stick, after his leg operation. That makes two of us hobbling about, Doctor today wants me to go for X-ray of both hips.:shocked:

Took my 4 year old granddaughter to the park yesterday, she gathered a pile of leaves got 2 twigs and started to rub them together, what ya doing i asked , making a fire she replied ,who taught you to do that i asked , Peppa pig she replied :)

Renewed VM and paying £5 less than I have for the last 18 months. Took many calls and hours to agents all over the World in Manilla , Honduras, Papua New Guinea, Calcutta and Glasgow. I think VM must be SPECTRE in disguise.... A sideline maybe for money laundering?
The Scottish agent gave me a deal I liked. He understood about saving every penny and me being a tight wad ;)

Our contract finishes in a couple of months so we will be looking for a reduction in our monthly bill.

l usually use the online chat facility when it comes bartering for a better deal.

Play hard ball Den, don't accept the first offer and play the 'I'm leaving card'. Alway worth trying another day with another person. And beware of Oddjob if he answers the phone ;)

Its so good to be back, I haven't been to prison or anything haha. Current happy thought is of winter not that far away, because this heat is just outrageous!

I always found Virgin were more willing to negotiate than Sky are. Managed to renew at less than new customers would pay so suppose that's something.

One and bit days left to go before I'm on PTO !
Fly off on Saturday for two weeks in the sun
Back for five and bit days then fly out to Tel Aviv for a six days with work....
