Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Nice to get an update at last. I must have tweeted Virgin 7 or 8 times over the last 4 months and have not had a single reply so this is good.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
After I recorded the Big Lebowski I watched it last night and was amazed by all the stuttering / freezing of the video there was did anyone else have the same problem?

I wonder if it was on the broadcast, or the box struggling to record UHD? |
Re: UHD on Virgin Media
I got the same thing. I assumed it was the box struggling but who knows. It shouldn't really struggle to record one UHD stream. As a new TV customer I'm more and more underwhelmed.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
I recorded Backdraft last night and watched it a bit later and thankfully there were no issues.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
See Dr who is going to be in 4k via I player .any one know if virgin are showing on uhd channel?
|
Re: UHD on Virgin Media
I wouldn't expect so. The BBC are strict on how their content is accessed. Anyway both the V6 and the 360 boxes will be able to access it via iPlayer.
I'd also point out that even if it was on the UHD channel, only the iPlayer version would be in HDR. |

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Just watched a recording of 42nd Street tonight and it looked stunning even in downscaled 1080p.
