It's XXL that's been doubled to 100Mbit that keeps it's 5Mbit upload until the double speed upgrades are completed |

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
I've just called up customer services and asked to upgrade my speeds, she said she will look up the prices, came back and said she will upgrade me to 60Mb with no changes in price, which is what i wanted. My area went 100Mb just a couple of days ago
Here is what i get https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2012/03/16.png |
Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
In the Southsea area it's from July onwards.
Have Super Hub on 30Mbps which will increase to 60Mbps & no charge for installation, as i am an exsisting customer, as my latest bill states:-) |

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Should point out again, it's still only a preliminary (half) upgrade, and while you get a higher download speed, STM and upload speed aren't upgraded to what they should be until later.

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
yup, you have got to appreciate the irony of them doubling the speed but not the stm. I would love to know whether it is programmed to knock you down by a certain % of a figure. E.g if it knocked a 20mbit user down to 25% which is 50mbit would it knock the 60mbit upgraded user down to 15mbit or down to 5mbit??????
Somebody do an experiment and find out. |
