Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

I had similar 6 months or more back when I was on 50Mbps. I downgraded to 10 as that was pretty much all they could deliver. It's pretty much healed now but my contempt for VM hasn't.

The graph just doesnt do justice in regards to showing how flakey my connection is right now.

I believe that over 55 upstream is outside limits. Mine is 44. Your down is fine.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

It's borderline as it is. Due to future changes in the way VM's network works, anything above 52 will be off limits soon.

Thanks qas, I was checking the sticky at the time I posted. Not too reassuring eh?

At the time the sticky was posted, the highest upload speed was 20 times slower than it is now...

Edinburgh's actually been verging on acceptable again since they fixed the core problems a week or two back:

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/s...21-05-2012.png

I say verging because they've kinda reduced the buffers so the same level of congestion shows less visibly on the graph.

I say kinda reduced as in change from fixed 1500ms to dynamic 400-3200(!)ms...
