I agree with DF's comments yesterday. I think Ofcom said Sky has to offer the Sky Sports 1 and 2 Premium HD on fair and equitable terms or something like that, so if Sky make it per household for their customers, I would expect that ultimately that would also happen on VM. Even if VM had to complain to Ofcom, which I think they did on the HD price per box...

Dunno about Sky Movies HD though. As that isn't a Must Offer set of channels.

Noticed that I get Sky 1 HD on the two boxes despite only paying one £7 premium, just not Sky Sports.

Oh I see.The C&W/NTL/VM motto 'coming soon' still applies..;)

So is there any chance of someone somewhere giving us an itinerary as to when ALL the red button functions WILL arrive on VM...

I know it's a very minor part of the DTV experience BUT us longer standing cable TV customers have been waiting a very, very long time.I think we can be excused for being some what impatient.;)

Nice to know even the moderators are asking about the Sky red button as it has been such a long wait and as l have stated before as a Virgin subscriber to Sky,s premium channels l believe the customer as he pays the same price as Sky,s customers is entitled to have the same functionality.:D;):D

Actually Denphone sky sports is not the same price as sky charge £20.50 for the channels, and on virgin media we pay £22.50 so it is actually more expensive to have sky sports with vm.!

Thanks for telling me that and that makes it even more right for us to have it.

Can you really see Sky charging their customers more :D

I agree with you that VM should get Sky Sports at the rate Sky charges it's own customers though.

Who knows in a month or so when OFCOM rules it may come down in price.

I personally think VM and BT should have pushed OFCOM more for access to all channels and interactive features and pricing to match Sky's own rather than cheaper access to SS 1 and SS 2, I pay £20.50 to Sky and I don't consider that bad value for 5 sports HD channels and red button services however I understand why customers of other platforms feel shortchanged.

Well with Sky,s track record of withholding content and functionality you can never be sure of anything and Sky will continously drag things out.

If and when News Corp take over Sky, their anti-competitive practices will get even tougher. Just have to hope OFCOM still have some teeth before their inevitable cuts.
