This thread has gone very quiet since most of us probably went for the £149 free install 1Gb Tivo......however the sweetner all the other XL tv people were getting with the free second box (moving your original V+ to another room) is something us as VIP's are still being charged for in our package.

There was talk of other offers for us that already had multiroom but this talk has dried up a lot since.

No you aren't. VIP does and always has include the second box in the discount.

Neither have I. It's about time Virgin came good with their promise of the revamp of VIP. Maybe it's time to bombard Mr Berkett again!!

The VIP bundles now available are the new ones

What exactly were you expecting from the revamp? With both VIP 50 and VIP 100 you get both the TiVo fee and the Sky Premium HD fee included

But watch out, in the revamp they have removed the Talk International and Talk Mobile add ons and replaced them with Talk International 2 and Talk Mobile 2. These are SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive per minute than the original.

No idea as not my area, I expect the pack can be tailored though and I would always call in rather than ordering online.

Can someone elaberate on this? I've recently upgraded to VIP50 (from 20) and added TIVO. Been unable to accessing E-Billing for 2 months now, and hopeing I'm not in for a nasty surprise! My wife is American so makes lots of calls to the US.

Why not use Skype? It is only 1.2p per minute to landlines in the US or computer tocomputer which is free.

Cheaper still with these and you can ring from a VM phone , you just need to ring a number first

a box you dont
http://shop.virginmedia.com/bundles/...e-package.html

i would have thought the vip package would have included a tivo box at least, i for one feel badly let down by virgin who have once again managed to rent a box for the price of buying one, nice trick if you can do it, i expected minimum for my v+hd box to be swapped to tivo for free, i already rent a box and have activated it i dont see why i should pay the fees again, at the moment the only reason i stay with virgin is for the catchup tv i have been with virgin\telewest for nearly 25 years and in all that time have never been given any reward for loyalty, dont get me wrong sky dont reward loyalty either but at least they dont constantly recharge you for a box you dont own.

you get no extra monthly fee for TiVo though, so save £36 a year. TiVo is a new product, so it may well end up in the VIP bundles at a later date.. who knows!
