Arsenal are not planning to sign another striker to replace Olivier Giroud - even if scans on his ankle confirm a serious injury.

#AFC still want CB/DMF (maybe someone who can do both) but likely to be squad player not big name as (esp CB) will be back-up #bbcsportsday

Hope Arsenal choke if they win tonight. Besiktas should have had 2 penalties and get nothing. Disgusting refereeing. Wonder how much Kroenke paid the ref?

Did you see the Arsenal players going down, as soons as they got touched to get as free kick and Arsenal Keeper get booked for time wasting. Same old Arsenal, always cheating.

And the same old Spurs always one step behind the others apart from sacking their manager on a regular basis.

Wengers got his cunning grin on. No way is he not thinking about signing a striker. He confirms Giroud out until Dec14-Jan15

Hope they get all the Eastern European teams now. Absolute disgrace, I agree with Arthur. Arsenal players too quick to fall down, especially Alexis. Rolling around like he had been shot with a machine gun. Ronaldo and Drogba got lots of abuse for doing the same, think he will be following them.
