I know it's already been asked a couple of times, but could those members who are downloading at 8Mbps post their downstream & upstream data rates from the "Operation Configuration" page of the cable config web site.

User Name & Password = root

it allows you to check your cable modem config file - what we need is people who are getting 8meg or above to go in and access this screen then select the 'operation configuration' screen from it - then check the speed values on it and screen dump it and post here.
