Just finished watching the live recording of tomorrow night's Have I Got News For You, it was really good and if anyone's interested when they show the audience I'm literally in the top right-hand corner.

Alexander Armstrong presents, guests are Kirsty Wark and Joe Lycett. Some interesting revelations about the connection between Alexander and Dominic Cummings and they rip into Lord Brownlow....great show :)

My Niece bought her first car today it's a Mk2 Ford KA 63 plate, the car was outside her budget, but my sister upped their contribution if she matched it, so she did.

She is 20 and her insurance is only £1,300 and road tax is £30.

I only got a quick look as it was trying to rain, so she will pop over tomorrow to my dad and me, and I will take her to Halford's to get some stuff to clean it, as I have a 15% discount card.

Just got home after three days in in Oxfordshire, visiting family and friends (son and partner who live in a narrowboat just north of Oxford, and ex-colleague from when I worked in the Higher Education sector)

Lovely part of the country, great seeing son/partner and friends again, had a couple of nice meals out (Cinammon Stick in Middle Barton and Pen Yen in the Soho Farmhouse), nice hotel for a couple of nights, but always glad to be home.

Pick up the dog tomorrow from kennels, then all back to normal.

I enjoyed a couple of sneaky pints with one of the lads from work who's just lost his mum. I think he enjoyed a couple of hours away from the crap bits of life.

Went for a drive in my niece's car, she's be using her dad's car since October, and this is the first chance I've been allowed to be a passenger.

We went to Halford's to get some glass and interior cleaning stuff.

She is a lovely driver.

Well done, him - I had a similar rank when in (J/T, Junior Technician - ROT); best rank in the RAF - all the money, none of the responsibilities.
