Got my letter this morning, bill going up by £2.50 a month. I wonder when the tipping point will be reached for a lot of subscribers.

Well that makes it same price as a now tv monthly pass, so not far to the tipping point.

Its all in the eye of the beholder as what some might see as poor value others might see it as excellent value compared to going to live sporting events etc , etc where ticket prices are pretty astronomical.

It's less than the price of a home ticket to my team, so I will stick with it.
The Now TV route will tempt some but I don't find the 720p picture quality as good as Sky Sports HD and nowhere near as good as the BT Sports HD.

The PQ is rubbish on Now TV, HD is now a must for viewing sports, particularly football imo.

How much are Sky Sports and Movies on VM now guys? Can't seem to find the price listed anywhere other than 'from £19' when you add to a bundle. Think they'd hit about £40 for both with HD when I left last year.

£36.75 without HD

£43.75 with HD

Thanks Gavin.

I thinks they'll be £42 on Sky after the June price rise so I guess the gap is narrowing now between Sky and VM as it used to be around £7.

It's definitely getting expensive but like others have pointed out, still cheaper than attending most single Premier League games, not that I can remember much with my team!

Price Increase again. I just don't understand VM - do VM think customers have a bottomless pit of money Disgraceful

So, should VM absorb the extra charge that Sky has imposed?
