Then de-arrested after a blood test showed he was under the limit.

On most days I'd fail a roadside breathalyser because they're a load of crap.

De-arrested while they wait for the test to be analysed, it takes a couple of weeks to come back so he will probably still be charged.

And the roadside breathalyser is sensitive enough to be used for airline pilots with a much lower tolerance than driving offences, the station procedure is a throwback to the crystal in a bag days and will probably be scrapped in the near future.

It doesn't distinguish between alcohol types though.
With my diet I'll fail one most the time because I'm near constantly in ketosis, so my body is producing isopropyl alcohol which is then present in the breath. That gets detected as an alcohol by road side breathalysers even though it's completely unrelated to Ethanol.

Former manager Roy Evans believes Liverpool are serious contenders to win the Premier League this season The Reds have not won a top-flight title for 21 years, with rivals Manchester United lifting the Premier League 12 times during that period.

Being a fellow Liverpool fan, I don't think we are ready for the title yet, we need another strong centre back then maybe.

BBC doing the old soundbite plugging trick to stir up the pot ahead of tomorrow's game. I think Roy knows that the reality is that we won't be challenging for the title yet, although there's really nothing contentious about what he said moreover it would be unwise to write anyone off in the top 5 at this point.

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Manchester United's fixture against Liverpool is the biggest club game in the world The two title rivals meet at Anfield on Saturday and Ferguson believes the clash eclipses matches between Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid.

At their prime, maybe. Now, I'd go with Real vs Barca
