VM have to start adding HD channels soon because they have stated they will have x (I forget how many) amount of channels by year end. Of course they could add them Dec 31st. I would expect a lot sooner than that but I'm reading between the lines.

I will be happy with Sky Arts HD personally for now but by April when my contract has expired it will be 9 months since they announced it which even for a very patient man like me is long enough to wait.

We'll see, I totally believe the staff when they say exciting things are afoot but there is only so long i'll wait.

They never, ever talk about new channels at the investors meeting so if you are hoping for news it won't come from that. We go through this every time they have one.

I struggle to find anything decent to watch with the chanels i have now (bar a couple of shows), so hopfully it`ll be something nice.

Anyway i`ll just wait and see what Santa brings :D

Its like waiting for paint to dry, the only problem is the paint dryed 6 months ago.

No they are having to give it a second coat, then wait and see if it needs a third coat:shocked:

PS VIRGIN are not like SKY they are unable to get the decorators in and they have to do it their selves.

When was the last original channel to launch on Virgin? Not counting a +1 channel like ITV+1.

If you mean original (as in not a timeshift or HD simulcast) as opposed to exclusive I guess that would be Cinemoi.

Yep nothing in London either... getting more and more cheesed off with VM. More channel launches on Sky that we dont have (MTV Music channel) Since Living went over to Sky on demand has been dramatically reduced. The promised Sky on demand content still not arrived nor have Sky HD basic channels bar Sky 1 HD, red button for sports "apprentally" in April, no Sky Atlantic even though we lose a number of channels including Bravo and Channel One and VM are still paying the same amount to Sky for content but us recieving less:confused: (Virgin got duped with that deal...)

TiVo rollout shambolic... now I'm being told late March as "its in beta mode" even though there is a rollout right now!

More tech probs with TV and BB over weekend... :td:

Generally fed up with the service
