Ha! Brown and his previous cronies were the ones to bring in this sliding scale of VED. I seem to remember el gov recently complaining about losing vast amounts of revenue due to more and more people buying energy efficient cars.

My moan is people who are meant to be your friends, but clearly have other ideas, about what being a friend really means. I can't seem to have an opinion, or say anything, without upsetting someone, be it on or off Facebook. I sometimes feel as though I'm walking on egg shells with some people. Oh well rant over

In that case, you are probably better off not speaking to them at all. A mod on another Forum has a saying:

If you lend a friend £20 and never see them again, it was £20 well spent.

Got to say I agree with that.

True friends will stick with you through thick and thin no matter what as they know you will also do the same for them as well.
