I think the impact will be minimal. VM have about 600k sports subscribers, so they will be the most likely to switch.

However both Tivo and particulaly customers with 4 products are very sticky for VM.

Added to that are some people who just love the brand.

So minimal impact is my personal view.

Doesn't all services ie Sky, TalkTalk and VM ALL use BT cables and telecommincations system ie exchanges.

So, l cannot see any problems.

Everyone is speculating the worst - no offical comment has been made about BT Sports not being on VM

Don't think there can be much doubt about that Den. It's the price given what XL customers are losing that interests/worries me :(

We have a major company here, yes, they may have been taken over by Liberty Global, BUT it is still VM controlling the shots.

WE, the customer should know what is happening as we are debating what will happen etc. What VM should be doing is exactly what Sky are doing, and that is Advertising the channels NOW.

This is where you are going to get the customer basis, Yes, BT are making a big advertising impact to attract customers, along with Sky. What is VM doing - ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to settle there basis down.

Arthur there is a link that others have posted here - https://customer.virginmedia.com/for...art=Tickles_18

I also agree - but it's doubtful it will be free on the XL Package like ESPN was, this time it will cost extra...

I think it would be unacceptable if we had to pay full whack given we're losing ESPN

The XL Package might go down a bit in price when ESPN leaves us...
