Can anyone with an TV360 give me the FULL list of channels on the "Radio app" via PM so I can add the list to my TV360 EPG Listings on my blog.

It's the same app as on V6. All versions of the app will have the same content, whether it be on TV or mobile.

The Android store description says "110,000 Radio Stations & Podcasts from 163 counties" so getting a list is probably not worth the time spent. Just assume it's virtually everything.

Exactly. A suitable compromise would be for CNN to be carried on a cost neutral basis. When the UKTV channels were pulled from VM, VM offered to continue to carry the FTA UKTV channels for free, so it is a possibility.

americas influence over the world is shrinking it seems...

We were close to getting fox news, close to getting NBC Sky International News and then Fox withdrew after getting complaints from ofcom here and NBC Sky international news being cancelled due to the pandemic...now cnn is closing in the UK except for Sky.

I wonder if NBC are tempted to launch over here and just seize the opportunity. Probably not.

I will miss having american news to watch

You could always use the phone apps. ABC, CBS, NBC and even CNN are available. FOX is too but for a monthly fee.

The main radio service has 38 stations on it which are on the EPG on V6

Do anyone else think an other news broadcaster (GB News) may ask Virgin to give them CNN Channel number of 607 after Wednesday September 8th?

All platforms have EPG policies as you know, I'm not sure how VM's one works, I don't think they publicly publish details. Others I've seen (Freeview/Freesat) consult the adjacent channels and move outwards if the nearest channels aren't interested. VM also wouldn't want to irritate the other broadcasters on their books by allowing a rival to leapfrog them, particularly if they're a significant income generator.

VM are more likely to allow a broadcaster who has numerous channels to leapfrog (e.g. Sky) than a company with one channel.

E4 got vacated BBC3 Ch 106 in return for money, and they've held its old number vacant ever since as if they could reverse it at a moment's notice.

Most shuffles on VM tend to be within the numbers already in the broadcaster's portfolio. E.g. to accommodate Max, it is mostly going to be achieved by shuffling down with existing Sky channels, Ch163 and Ch206 are the only empty numbers being used (from memory), and they didn't use the recently closed FOX UK channel numbers much to many's surprise.

Whatever's involved it might be deemed not worth the hassle, A+E UK channels in the Main section have always languished in the 200s even when gaps have opened up in more favourable positions. Blaze and Crime+Investigation don't seem interested in moving despite being surrounded by +1s, it could be VM's EPG rules didn't make it worthwhile.

It would be better to move GB News to a different section completely until it actually has news. Maybe a new genre for technically inept TV.

GB News is already planning to add news bulletins, which I agree was a serious omission on their part.

That will be interesting on a low budget. Let's see how it compares with all of the other things they "planned".

VM's EPG policy is here.
