My happy is someone else's loss: I went to park my trolley at Sainsbury's and there was a trolley not docked that still had a quid in the slot.

My local Tesco was handing out Happy Mother's Day potted plants FREE.Obviously they were unable to sell them all in time. Very nice gesture all the same.

Good news as l just talked to my brother on the dog and bone and the company he works for will keep him on full pay even though his hours have been reduced by half because of the Coronavirus.:)

Good employers keep their valuable employees. Those that treat them as a disposable commodity have a high turnover of staff.

Yup - old mantra
Look after your staff
They'll look after your customers
Happy customers spend more and/or tell their friends

Prov 22:1 If you have to choose between a good reputation and great wealth, choose a good reputation.

Made bread today. Been rather lazy recently and buying it. Now there's a limited selection I thought I'd make my own multi-seeded loaf again. Good thing I keep a stock of the items to make this.

A cheering smell, fresh baked bread, in these dark times. :)

I have an almost full tin of dried yeast in the fridge. None to be had in the supermarket today though.
