All my clients are shutting over the Christmas week so I can shut the business down for the festive period and concentrate on enjoying Christmas with friends and relatives. :)

Off to the allotment to dig up some parsnips and leeks. My Xmas meal depends on this, so those deer better have not broken in and had their own feast again !

Looking forward to tomorrow..No slaving over a hot stove tomorrow..Instead we are booked into a local curry restaurant with views of the Solent to partake of turkey curry if we so wish..No washing up afterwards..just a brisk walk along the seafront.

Merry Christmas to everyone

Today it arrived.

The letter from Natwest - we've paid off the mortgage in full. Overpayments already returned to our current account and the mortgage account removed from online banking summary screen.

Just used the system restore to undo the damage to W7 that the last two updates did. I think this was deliberate sabotage by M$ to make me move to W10. No chance.

Anybody using W7, do not install the last two updates and turn off Windows update as well

Every year I apply to buy tickets in the Wimbledon Ballot. You apply and then you're put into a draw to buy tickets for one of the main matches at Center Court or Courts 1 & 2 from the first round onwards.

First year I got Men's QF. Second year I got Doubles (which I didn't take). Then for about four consecutive years I got nothing.

Today I get an e-mail. I got tickets!

Go to login to the portal and they give me the date and court. 12th July 2020, Center Court. Look up what round of games is playing on Center Court on the 12th July 2020...Men's Final

Just a heads up for anybody who likes pies: Sainsbury's are knocking out Pukka pies, all types, for a quid a pop. (Normally £1.75)
