Offside headlight bulb for a Toyota Avensis, and as usual with modern cars it happens to be the side with no access to anyone who isn't double jointed, has the hand size of a 5 yr old, and can see perfectly in dark areas under the wing/bonnet

Rang local Toyota . . . buy the bulb from us (£7.50) and we will fit it free, 30 minute job

Brilliant, saves me skinned knuckles, high blood pressure, and 2 hrs struggle :D :D

Every time i have lost a bulb the other bulb goes a week later.

We found leaving her as the main driver but adding us as additional drivers brought the price down loads (it even made a difference which order we added the additional drivers - me before Mrs G was a few £'s cheaper).

Thank you that is what we have done now he is the main driver, his Dad as a named driver, no black box and it even worked out cheaper despite no black box. The only thing is because he is 17 he could not pay the insurance up monthly something to do with they don't give 17 year olds credit so in the end just under £1600 was paid upfront to DL as he now has a multi car discount as it is who I'm with.

Thanks again I would never have thought of doing this plus tbh he was not keen on the black box so he is delighted tbh.

So on your advice he saves around £400 better in his pocket :D Thank you..

This cheered me up this morning...

1. Go to Google.
2. Google "Wizard of Oz".
3. Tap the red slippers.
4. Tap the tornado.

Well Yestrday I picked up my brand new 2.0 Litre Diesel Kuga Titanium, 10 miles on the clock.

1/4 tank of Diesel, filling up cost £63.

Today I called my insurance, going from my 17 plate to my 69 plate Kuga cost £71 extra.

I've often wondered... Is "Titanium" just a model name, or does it actually contain some?

Titanium is a model specification... e.g. bells and whistles.

It has a lot of standard equipment, Keyless entry, dual zone climate control, Rear privacy glass, etc.

Mine came with the Magnetic paint colour which is a premium colour, and instead of 18" alloys it cam with 19" 'Y' alloys.

I cam with a 1/4 tank and I filled it up and that cost £65, It works out about £85 to fill from empty.
