Great to have Sky Sports 5 but the sound seems to be a bit out of sync.

Also why is the Sky Sport 5 Logo almost in the middle of the screen?

i have got my TV set to widescreen but wish they would move it.

Official Details on WWE Network Going Global Today, Rolling Out on Smart TV's & Other Devices
By Marc Middleton

- WWE issued the following today:

WWE® NETWORK GOES GLOBAL

STAMFORD, Conn., August 12, 2014 – The U.S. English language version of WWE Network is available starting today, on an over-the-top basis, in more than 170 countries and territories, including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Spain, and the Nordics, among others. The network is expected to be live in the U.K. by this October and plans for the network in Italy, UAE, Germany, Japan, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia will be communicated at a later date.

For $9.99 (U.S. dollars) per month with a six month commitment, fans will have access to 24/7 programming, all 12 live WWE pay-per-view events, and the most comprehensive video-on-demand library. In addition, subscribers can now choose a monthly offering at $12.99 (U.S. dollars) with no commitment and the ability to cancel at any time. The $12.99 price point is a change from the previously announced $19.99 monthly plan and allows WWE to offer an option with no commitment that we believe better reflects the variety of economies that exist internationally.

Like other digital subscription services, such as Netflix and Hulu Plus, fans are able to subscribe online by going to WWE.com and clicking on the WWE Network button on the top right corner of the navigation bar. Throughout the day, WWE Network will be made available internationally across all platforms including web, mobile, gaming consoles and connected devices.

Additionally, WWE today announced that WWE Network will be available by tomorrow on Sony internet connected TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Home Theater systems. By this Friday, WWE Network will be available on Samsung Smart TV devices, Blu-ray Players and Home Theater systems.

sounding good and all PPV

Wonder why UK gets it October second biggest market.

Delayed because sky are showing night of champions ppv on sky sports 1,after that all ppv's are on sky box office and new contract kicks in.hence the delay

Or could have something to do with the UK being WWEs 3rd biggest audience so they want to make sure the network can handle the strain before launching in the UK. USA was a standalone launch i think Canada was too?
Not everything is Skys fault, just a thought.

I'm still certain that the network in the UK is going to be a Sky/Virgin channel included in the Sky Sports package, just like how it's a cable channel in Canada.

Sky Sports has the exclusive rights to all the PPVs, so there's no way that they would be okay with WWE broadcasting them on a cheaper platform.

Not really vindictive just end of a contract and start of new, sky planned earlier in year what is going to be ppv or shown on sky sports and originally network wasnt planned till next year.hence change in new contract starting earlier to slow take up in states but numbers are picking up

What makes you say that? Canada's set-up is due to different legislation in that country so WWE needs a local partner. WWE does not have the same need in the UK. With the boom in devices like Roku, PPV on Sky and streaming for enthusiasts looks a cost-effective way of delivering the sport.

I hear that WWE Main Event is set to come to Sky Sports in 2015 as part of the new deal signed in January.
