We are currently watching our way through House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, The Tudors, Dexter, Prison Break and Modern Family. Whilst most have already been on TV, somehow along the way we managed to miss these shows or didn't catch them from the beginning. The movies, for us, is a nice little bonus. |

If Netflix launched as a standalone premium channel, rather than being bundled with the XL package, then I believe Netflix would have made a big mistake. A deal that would get them a guaranteed income for the next few years, is far better than a deal that will probably only get them several thousand new subscribers over the same period.

I don't want to access content from a plethora of devices. So having all this on the TIVO is perfect for me and for many others, i suspect.
As far as the cost is concerned, I would welcome having netflix on the XL package. I feel I lose out a bit with XL at the moment because I never watch sport. There should be something on there for non- sports fans. Quote:

However I do agree with Old Boy, there isn't anything in XL for non-sports fans except HD. Netflix would of been a good alternative and would of been a great way to replace non-PPV or Catch Up On Demand services. |
