So what package do people think SKY Atlantic will be added too if it does actually come to Virgin? I think it will be added to either L or XL. Although seeing SKY seem to be able to dictate certain terms when selling their channels, and the fact they themselves rate the channel highly, I expect SKY to tell Virgin to add it to the XL package. Can SKY really do this?

Yes, I have seen Sky Atlantic adverts where it does not mention any exclusivity or the channel number. It doesn't mean diddly squat.

Virgin Media will make available through its on-demand TV service a range of content from Sky's basic and premium channels, including the newly acquired VMtv channels. Virgin Media will also have access to red button interactive sports coverage and the opportunity to deliver selected standard definition programming over the internet.

VMtv was sold for Sky services and channels that existed at that point in time. Sky Go did not.

Its not the 'sport and movies part of it', its the only actual 'on demand' part of the service.

The only reason they are differentiated is some Sky TV customers cannot receive Sky Broadband which is required for Sky Anytime+ on their platform.
