Ripper Street after the first two series l think went onto Amazon or Netflix for the third series but obviously they did not renew it and thus its back on Auntie albeit it on BBC2.

The original deal was that Amazon get first run rights then the BBC get to show it several months later.

I've not heard that that deal has been changed. I don't know how many seasons the deal was for though.

Edit: Yep, S4 already available via Prime

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sneak-Peek/...treet+season+4

S5 coming to Prime later this year.

Described as a tense thriller, an 8 part series of 'Paranoid' starts on ITV this coming Autumn. The story is about the fallout when a GP is savagely stabbed to death as she takes her son to a children's playground.

Sky 1 will be offering an epic new period drama 'Brittania' in which the Romans storm Britain to overrun the Celts. It's a 10 part series and filming has just begun. So this will probably air some time next year.

Another Drama too look out for is Hooten & The Lady which starts on Sky 1 in September 2016 next month. If you like Indana Jones then you will love Hooten & The Lady.

I don't get why Amazon dropped the first run rights to that after season 2. The cast changes maybe?

A lot of Characters left in the Season 2 Finale but some do come back in the 3rd series such as Elizabeth Mitchell and Donald Sutherland.

Elizabeth Mitchell was an addition to the third season. I've only seen one episode of the third season. William Fichtner was a great loss to the series IMHO.
