Re: Speed Issue - Nothing left to do but leave NTL?
Well I phoned up to cancel my broadband on Monday, and low and behold today 10mb is working exactly as it should be!
Question is now can/should I cancel my cancellation :dunce: Any other SK8ers (Excuse the Avrilism) experiencing the right speeds now? http://www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/sp...3f7ef3c67acdfd Just tried newsgroups and pulling down at 1200KBps fine |
Re: Speed Issue - Nothing left to do but leave NTL?
so you cancelled and suddenly your speeds shot up?
|
Re: Speed Issue - Nothing left to do but leave NTL?
Yup, well, it shot up about 3 days after cancelling.

Re: Speed Issue - Nothing left to do but leave NTL?
Coincidence probably, mine was back about 5 days after i cancelled.
Ntl should be a great service, atm its no better than anyone else. :( |

End of the day ntl are pile 'em high sell 'em cheap same as every other mass market operation. That withstanding a fair few people clearly have unacceptable service quality, neither average not 'great'. |
Re: Speed Issue - Nothing left to do but leave NTL?
Well i wouldnt say they are reassuring anyone atm, but as they own their own network [so to speak] they should be able to provide as good, or a better service than their competitors.
Unfortunately for reasons known only to them they choose not too. :( |
