I think that's the third time she's referenced the Doctor.

We also saw the TARDIS very briefly.

It is confirmed by writers her story includes her traveling in the Tardis and there was talks of a crossover

Terrible episode for me. it was stupid when Buffy did it and it is stupid now. At least in Buffy there was singing

They subjected us to a musical episode a year or two ago.

I don’t mind stupid filler episodes when you have 23 or more slots a season to fill. US broadcast shows have always done it. But when you have only 10 episodes to write per year, and the technical resources to make every one of them look better than a feature film from 30 years ago, there’s just no excuse for it.

I loath musicals, so I'm glad they resisted that.
I didnt think the episode was that bad, but certainly not great.
They have done far worse (like that horrible musical episode, I had to skip 90% of that, I just cant stand them).

Much better this week. Big callback to the motion picture too, which actually helps make the ‘wormhole’ sequence in the film make more sense in the context of everything later established in the various TV series.

Just up to the credit I was about to quit till the bit before. Giving it a chance but seriously be serious Star Trek haha
