Two "A Message For Parents" channels (Virgin UK Channels 968 and 985) has moved from CO34 to CO70.

Due to them changed multiplex/frequency you will need to re-Add to your Favourites.

Why would anyone add that channel to their favourites?

NINE unknown Channels (All in MPEG2) has started to test on CO32 today. All are broadcasting test cards (Look like for Sky Sports red Button).

An other unknown Channel has appeared on CO65 - Not broadcasting right now.

Something I predicted finally happened! :D Not that it wasn't pretty obvious, what with the lack of MPEG4 switch when the Sky Sports channels were done ages ago.

Not that I've ever subscribed. Affects me not a jot.

We have found on DBR that some of "Channel Moved" has been renamed "Channel Update".

on CO47.

Interesting. I didn't noticed them when I posted about Channel Update Slate rename on Tsid18 (the Sky Cinema SD multiplex) this morning.

Re: Channels switched to MPEG4

Aside from the removal of Sky Cinema SD channel, which I put on the Changelog thread as this one isn't appropriate, there was another change I noticed, on Tsid101 (CO56 on DigitalBitRate website).

The BBC1 SD regional channel (the North West version is what is covered by DBR, so it may not affect other BBC1 SD regional versions on equivalent multiplex elsewhere) has switched to MPEG4.

Also, on the same multiplex, there is a New Sans Nom with HD resolution. It appears to be the same channel. So apparently BBC1 North West is going HD.

Given BBC1 has about 17 (vague recollection, it may be a slightly different number) versions and only 4(?) have a HD version because the BBC can't afford to convert them all at once, this won't be happening for them all on VM any time soon.

As of 1.34pm today it was broadcasting Sky Sports Golf in MPEG4.

Maybe it's going to be Sky Sports Racing HD or Sky Premiere +1 HD? One of the remaining channels on the Sky Cinema SD multiplex would make sense.

Sky Cinema do not have an Sky Cinema Premiere +1 HD Channel.

[/COLOR]BBC ONE North West want MPEG4 yesterday.

Liverpool TV is broadcasting CBS Really

I didn't look at the graph dates, I just knew it was since I last looked a couple days ago. :)

CBS Reality would make sense, one of the main Local Channel companies simulcasts that channel during the daytime on their channels.

I didn't think they did. But I suspect Sky may be going HD-only with their premium channels soon on Satellite, to make room for these upcoming linear UHD channels, so there might be soon.

BBC One SD was showing golf at the same time (possibly part of a 1 O'Clock news report based on the time).
