Re: 4 upstream channel bonding - post here
Wondered why I had a ton of pre and post errors on my downstream channels and checked my upstream and I'm now on 4 channels.
Nottingham, Basford UBR. https://www.cableforum.uk/images/local/2018/09/2.png I had noticed my modem rebooting and such late at night so I guess they were doing some work. |
Re: 4 upstream channel bonding - post here

Re: 4 upstream channel bonding - post here
Staverton now on 4 upstreams (64QAM)

Re: 4 upstream channel bonding - post here
One of the things I've noticed on my 4 channels (for the past couple of years) there is always 1 channel at 16QAM (the others being 64QAM). Usually it's 25.8MHz that's at 16QAM. But today, that channel is at 64QAM and another channel is at 16QAm. In due course it'll revert. The VM forum bods can't give me an explanation for this.

Seph i used to have this issue but now touch wood all seem rock solid on QAM64.
Could it be noise? |

Seph if they can leave people over subscribed for that amount of time then surely they can leave some noise on the network lol.

Re: 4 upstream channel bonding - post here
The modulation on my device seems to be all over the place since it moved to 4 channels.
Currently it's 1 46200000 42.5 5120 32 qam 9 2 32600000 43 5120 64 qam 11 3 39400000 42.8 5120 64 qam 10 4 25800000 41.8 5120 32 qam 12 Yesterday it was a combination of 16, 32 & 64. |
