I agree 100%, nothing but a gimmick......a very poor gimmick. It's a rubbish attempt to hit back at SKY's "believe in better" campaign, or was it SKY's "extra effect" campaign?

Anyway a tickle will only work if your getting something you didn't have previously, or your being informed of something you didn't know previously. So far it seems most people on here's tickle has been a let down..... all 9 pages!

It's like their Movies First. I haven't seen any films that are on in my area.
Plus it's not well published, I wouldn’t even know about it if it wasn’t for this site.

Whoops! Don't know if it's been mentioned before in this thread but I've just found out that one has to sign up to accept the tickle. Just about got in on time.

Is that to take the sour taste out your mouth when you realise how poor your tickle is:erm:

Re: Virgin aims to tickle loyal customers.

I got a message on my V+ that did not say it was a tickle but it said I now have Sky Anytime with chances to catchup on Sky programmes such as Boardwalk Empire, Bones and a few others.
Now maybe I am wrong but I thought Boardwalk Empire was on Atlantic so we wouldn't get that in catchup at all?

So they send out a message about something I already knew I had but include something we can't actually see at all

I've just had a chat with our TV team and Boardwalk Empire isn't currently available on Virgin Media as stated. That part of the message was sent out by mistake, sorry about that.

Remember the tagline on the Tickles are 'little things to make you smile'

So they aren't going to be the most amzing things ever in all cases.
